Interior Painting Process 101
We know that getting work done in your home is a big deal. It’s a place where you want to feel comfortable, relaxed, and rested. It certainly shouldn’t be a place where you feel anxious or stressed. But let’s face it, it’s hard not to be anxious and stressed when you have strangers in your home and you don’t understand what they are doing, why they are doing it that way, or whether they’re going to leave you unsatisfied and without an explanation. We ensure that this will never happen on one of our projects.
Our process is dependable. It’s the result of years of experience and constant fine tuning using employee and client input. You can rest assured that our process will fit your project perfectly. Efficiency is key to any project. Through integrated scheduling, estimating, project planning, and payment processing technology, we provide our clients with a process that operates seamlessly. We are able to provide all relevant information to each of our staff so that each one working on your project is well informed of your vision, needs, and concerns.
In the needs assessment phase, our office staff will ask questions which are designed to help us understand what your basic vision, needs, and concerns are for the project. They will enter this information into our integrated system and set up a project consultation for you.
Your project manager will come prepared to take accurate measurements and notes on the specifics of your project. They’ll also go over our Process in more detail with you so that you have a good understanding of how the project will progress and what to expect at each step.
At least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start, the foreman assigned to your project will contact you to confirm details such as actual start time and entry to the property, go over a suggested project preparation list, and answer any questions you may have. On initial arrival, the foreman will review with you your expectations for security, cleanliness, and other necessary details. At the end of each day, each finished room will be cleaned up and furniture returned to its original order. It is not always possible, but our team makes every effort to finish each room they start in a given day, leaving you with minimal inconvenience.
After work is completed, but before the crew leaves, the foreman will inspect every room with you and complete checklists to ensure each room is finished to your satisfaction. He will then request your signature indicating that all inspections have been completed to your satisfaction and will facilitate making final payment per contract terms. Finally, your project manager will follow up with an email and a call to ensure that your vision, needs, and concerns were all satisfied throughout the phases of your project and to invite/guide you to provide us with an official review on Google, Yelp, Facebook, etc.
